Alect Driving School keeps pricing simple. There are two kinds of lesson, priced per hour, and one package for test day. Prices are in Australian dollars and are the same whichever suburb you are picked up from. If there is anything you are not sure about, such as test fees or lesson bundles, just ask David when you book.

Pricing questions
Do I pay online when I book?
No. The booking form only sends David your request. He confirms a time with you first, and payment is arranged directly with him. Ask about accepted payment methods when you book.
Is the government test fee included in the test package?
No. Test booking fees are paid to Service NSW when you book your test. The package covers the preparation drive and use of the school car.
Can I switch between manual and automatic?
Yes. Many learners start in the automatic to build confidence and move to the manual later, or the other way round. Tell David what you are aiming for and he will suggest a plan.
What about cancellations and rescheduling?
Please give David as much notice as you can if you need to move a lesson. Ask him about the cancellation policy when you book so there are no surprises.
